March menu is here!
Hello! Happy Wednesday! I hope everyone is good and having a fun filled week! It’s Mols here, reporting for her first official blog post. No pressure. Let’s do this.
So… it’s March! The skies are getting blue (sort of, sometimes?? But also, snow?? What is happening honestly?? I think that I think if I keep talking about blue skies then I will manifest it and spring will come faster), the flowers are blooming, and our menu has been amended. It’s all happening!
As you might have seen from my emotional and tear jerking Instagram post recently, we have said goodbye to 4 dishes from our menu at The SK. They have been left in February’s memories and we shall cherish them forever. Maybe one day they will return. Who knows.

However, when 4 dish doors close, 5 more open and my god are they STUNNING.
Our chefs spent a long time planning the new menu, taking on feedback and suggestions from you guys and have decided, based on what is in season, to add the following to our menu’s -
Roast Beetroot Salad: watercress, Honestly Tasty Herbi cheese, smoked almonds, red onion, croutons and fine herb. (This can be GF if we remove the croutons :))
Red Lentil Dahl: with spinach and topped with dry roasted chickpeas, mint yoghurt, a charred lemon and homemade poppadom shards. (GF option available)
Caramelised Red Onion & Blue Cheese Tart: using Honestly Tasty Blue cheese, tenderstem broccoli and topped with a hazelnut granola.
Wild mushroom ciabatta (Breakfast menu) - by popular request - served with crispy leeks, tarragon mayo and watercress.
Coconut yoghurt & granola (Breakfast menu) - same toppings as the porridge option. See menu below.
Also, our soup has had a refresh and we are now offering “Roast carrot with an almond and tarragon pesto”, as always with our warm baguette and butter. Perfection.
